Here are some stages that I have created. Feel free to use them.
Urgoth city:
You are in a city called Urgoth. It was built by dwarves. The houses are – for defense purposes – from the entrance of the city to the back the houses go from shorter to higher, because of a slope. The roofs are flat for archers to stand on. There is one entrance to the city which is a huge stone gate. On the other sides of the city it is surrounded by mountains. The city is about 1 mile front to back, North to South. It is ½ a mile from side to side, East to West. You enter through the rock. There are tunnels that are immediately sealed upon stepping out of them. These tunnels are opposite each other East and West. There is a castle at the back of the town, but the drawbridge is always shut. The moat is filled with baby kraken, deadly, but not 100 feet long. Don’t try to swim in the water, and if you jump in, good luck.
Castle:
The castle is dated back to the era of the crusades. The castle is marble white, and is 3 stories high; of course this is not the max height. The max height of the battlements which have arrow slits in them. They are approximately 72 feet. The castle has a draw bridge over a moat. (I know, cliché) The draw bridge is at the end of a courtyard with beautiful fountain in the middle. On the fountain stands an angel. The castle is surrounded by woods which are all but dead trees. The sun never shines, but the castle and everything around it is slightly illuminated by an eerie mist that seems to glow. If you go far enough into the trees, then you will get inevitably lost. There are tunnels within the forest that can be found, leading into the castle. The portals of entry are on opposite sides of the courtyard.
Cavern:
You are in a cave. The cave is slightly illuminated by overhanging lanterns, these lanterns never go out, so you can assume they are fueled by magic. You can’t get out because there is no entrance. In the middle is a pool of water. The pool is not really a pool; it is more like an underground lake. The lake is about 25 square yards. Each player starts on one side. Anyway, the edge of the cave is about 100 yards from the pool. So the room is about 200 yards from the middle of the pool in any direction.
Forest:
This room is square, at the North and South ends are portals that you warp into the stadium with. In the middle there is a forest and in the middle of that forest is a swamp, in the middle of the swamp is an island. On the outsides of the forest, are cliffs which are inaccessible unless you climb up from the North or South ends. You can see across the chasm. It is about 250 yards across and 25 yards deep. The forest extends North to south about 400 yards and the mountains are all 450 yards which is the entire length of stadium, on the North and south end there is 25 yards from the starting platform to the edge of the wood. The cliffs are about 5 yards wide when at the top.
Graveyard:
This arena is a in the shape of a rectangle. In the middle is an inactive volcano. Bones are scattered everywhere as well as gravestones. There are a few small piles of bones big enough to hide behind. The portals that you enter are on the North and South ends. The walls of the arena are see through for any one that wants to watch the match.
Plains:
The Arena is a simple grass field, which is flat all over. There are no trees, no rocks, just grass which only goes up a couple inches. The field is 200 miles by 200 miles, and it is a suspend block of earth which is hanging in the middle of the sky. It is on such a planet that if you fly up more than 100 feet, you will run out of oxygen to breathe. Beyond the field is a thick, magical barrier which cannot be broken.
Shifting Sewers:
The sewers you are in are endless. If you near the end of it they will extend, thus you can guess they are magic. You can never get lost because you will never go straight. No matter how much you think you are you are not, because the sewers are constantly changed shape. This process of course is unnoticeable. The sewers smell, very bad, but due to the fact that the fact that the sewers move makes the sewage shift and drain out. That is one of the reason the sewers were created. Since the sewers are ever changing then the portals are not defined. You start somewhere, locate your opponent, and fight. The sewers will lead you to each other.
