Hello, and Welcome! I assume that if you are reading this travel guide, you are wondering what this..."world exploration" is all about.
In simple terms, this is the place where players have free reign to explore and travel as they please. I will try to explain how this works in a short, yet intuitive fashion so nobody is left confused. Of course, feel free to post questions.
This is what you could call, a "side quest", where you aren't really doing anything huge, or world-saving. It all sort of depends on what you discover and learn while traveling through the world. This is a role-playing heavy section, so it will require you to use a lot of text to portray what you are hoping to accomplish.
[We're still working on a lot of things, so I can't be sure how rewards or experience will transfer between role-playing in this world, and playing through the main story lines]
The world is a huge place, with many countries, cities, and landmarks to visit. There will be horrifying dungeons, pristine palaces, and of course, rowdy, and lewd taverns. And I'm sure you can imagine, but this world is also filled with monsters and dangerous creatures. It might not be safe to travel alone in the wilderness, so feel free to pick up some friends to travel with.
The areas will not scale based on character levels, or party size. You traverse into unsafe territory at your own risk! So this is how it works, to help protect our precious adventurers from harm. Harder places are of course harder to find! You'll need to be a seasoned adventurer to know how to get to such places.
You might have noticed that posting in certain boards will grant you a post count [while others will not]. This is because we have a dedicated ranking system that allows players to access higher level areas depending on your ranking system. You can gain rank by posting, so it is important to venture often.
[As of this post, there are a number of boards that grant you post counts....the Fight Arena, the Main story, and of course, any role-playing boards in the World Exploration Category]
Wondering when the next ranking will be? This is the current chart you can go by:
3840 - Legend
1920 - Savior
960 - Hero
480 - Captain
240 - Veteran
120 - Adventurer
60 - Journeyman
30 - Apprentice
15 - Initiate
0 - Recruit
Don't be discouraged. Staff members will award post count bonuses to players for certain acts of valor. Since I know how hard it is rack up posts. So as it turns out, you'll find a new board appear when you have reached a certain level. This will not be limited to just dungeons and difficult areas, but also to hidden pubs, and black market dealers who can get you those coveted upgrades you desire.
