Unknown Arena by Tyler
The arena you are fighting in is roughly rectangular in basic shape but has jagged edges and a large peninsula jutting out of the southwest corner. The arena is surrounded by deep ocean on all sides. The "sun" is just beginning its descent and the sky is heavily clouded, creating deep shadows across the arena landscape. The center of the arena is a boggy swamp area, full of muck and difficult to traverse. The only way to effectively move around is by jumping between trees. The southern edge of the arena, including the peninsula, is a beach terrain with fine sand and very little foliage. The northern edge is covered by a thick forest with heavy shadows due to overlapping tree branches, and extremely thick foliage, easy to get lost or turned around in but contains no magical properties and no creatures inhabit it. A narrow but deep river creates a jagged cut running from the center of the northern section to the southeastern corner. All other terrain is covered by unremarkable, ankle-length grass. The arena is about 300 yards from west to east and about 200 yards from north to south.
Notes: A storm is brewing and could erupt into a downpour at any time. Choppy waves lap against the beach, quickly growing larger. Streaks of lightning flash between clouds in the distance. The arena seats circle the body of the arena and hover above the waves. Participants in the battle are unable to leave the arena by swimming or jumping to the seats due to magical barriers. Onlookers are also protected from wind, rain, and other elements from similar barriers, whereas participants are not.
Also, the swamps are populated with a variety of dangerous, carnivorous creatures and plants.
Points of entry: Participants are able to enter from either the west or east, teleported to starting pads by the battle star's magic. Participants are separated by 300 yards of terrain at the start.

Unnamed Arena by Ryan
The Arena you are fighting in is perfectly circular. The walls extend up to a domed ceiling which is about two hundred feet above you. The walls are made of blue stone, which can crack, but will not crumble even under the most severe attacks. The arena is split into two basic areas: there is a spaced forest, with a grassy floor; the trees span up to thirty feet in height, and they are all deciduous in nature. However the trees do not follow a uniform pattern and are scattered about aimlessly. The second half of the arena is a sandy beach, with a small lake spanning a twenty by twenty yard area. [Think of a foot ball field if that helps]. The beach is thirty yards long, with rich and lush sand, which slopes downward ever so slightly the more you walk towards the miniature lake. All in all, there is fifty yards worth of the arena covered in a grassy forest, and the second half is covered in a lake shore.
A third terrain, which resides in the north eastern corner of the forested area, is a bog/swamp. The water is mucky, and probably not very pleasant. The swamp goes down about ten feet at its point of greatest depression, and it is surrounded by three foot grass and weeds. The total area of the swamp is approximately a fifteen yard by fifteen yard area.
Notes to consider: The water in the lake is not salt water, it is fresh water. The trees in the forest do not bear any fruit, but branches are easily broken with enough force. [There is nothing magical about the forest.] The arena is modeled to imitate an Earth Noon, sometime during the spring. The temperature of the arena is approximately 50 F, with no other weather hindrances. The grass of the forested area goes up to about the ankles.
Directional sense: The Lake is to the West. The Forest is to the east. North and south lines run right across the division between the forest and the beach. The swamp would be north east.
Point of entry: Door one is on the north end of the room, and door two is on the south end of the room. Giving both combatants one hundred yards distance to start out with.

Arena by Aropeus
You are in a square room about 200 yards on each side, the ceiling is about 400 yards high. The walls are indestructible glass for people watching the fight. Directly in the middle of the stage is a volcano reaching 3/4 of the height of the room, with a rickety looking bridge seemingly thrown across the top. Beneath the bridge the crater of the volcano is about 50 yards down Surrounding the volcano is a frozen lake forming a something like a moat. Surrounding the lake are trees that go about 300 feet up. Everything else is plains with high plants.
Notes: The volcano is inactive. The plants in the plains are 6 feet tall.
The point of entries are in the middle of the north and south walls approximately 100 yards away from the mountain and 200 yards away from each other

Johoti's Chime Forest
A dense forest was all that seperated the competitors from each other. The trees stood taller than the same kind would naturally as they have been enhanced through the magic of the arena. Venomous plants and animals lay scattered throughout the arena some idle yet some hostile. The competitors must master the arena before they master each other. Scattered throught the forest are long copper tubes sticking out of the ground and hanging from the trees. When struck the tubes emit a massive shockwave that travles to the next tube closest to it. If planned right the competiors can use this against each other in various ways. Some tubes cause shockwaves to ripple throughout the arena, some when struck dont ring at all, but activate other another chime makeing it the perfect distraction. And then some tubes serve only to give the hapless fool who struck it away. Needless to say this Arena will test the combatants survival skills as well as their combat. The trees are spaced in clusteres where it can be incredibly thick in some places or so sparse that a clearing with sunlight shining down is revealed.

The Ashen Steppe by Ekame
The arena itself appeared to be the almost untouched remnants of a long passed burnt down forest. Several dead tree frames resembling giant black toothpicks poked out from the ground, which was a three-inch thick layer of loose ashes. The 2x2-acre area was half-encircled by a curving row of seats, along with several floating(probably magicked to do so) monitors depicting the battle from a wide variety of angles. There was no apparent gate from which a participant could enter the arena; rather, the open-sided area could be visited at any time by anyone who wished to participate. A large tavern was situationed under the stands, an ash-hidden trapdoor providing quick entry to the patrons who knew about it. Other than this, a blackened wasteland populated by roaming marauders, orc clans, land sharks, and the occasional dragon stretched on for miles in all directions.
This was the Ashen Steppe.

Johoti's The Hanging Warrior's Arena
Deep within the swampland of the elves their existes on of the most perilous arenas in the land. Thousands filled in for the schedualed fight, many dressed in drab peasent clothes while others wearing buitiful dresses and gowns and filed uniforms. They devided as the common folk headed to the lower section of the arena while the upper class filed into the upper section. It was at the end of the day and infamouse dark green fog was thicker than usual. As the spectators settled in the fighters were egerly getting ready. They were given a breif description of the arena By the Arena master. "The stands surrounded a large pit about a hundred feet deep. At the bottom were jaged rocks, spears, spikes and just about any sharp object we could think to throw down their. OH! and about everykind of creatures imaginalbe remains. Above the pit their are about fifty or so circular hanging platforms of different sizes and elevations. You wil be fighting on these platforms and trying to kill your foe at the same time. The platforms are made of sone and are massed covered around the edges. Sometimes we even slip in a bobbytraped on just for laughes. HeeHeeHee." The master finished the explanation and said one last thing. "Well call you out when the crowds readdy for you. The master pointed at two average looking fighters and told them to go out and fight. "Rookies. Neither of them expeirenced enough to take on this arena. But theyll be enough to warm the crowd up tonight."
