Ayakumi walks onto one of the circular platforms. She does a slight jump to test their durability and her stability on the floating platforms. She gives a nod to the judge in thanks and turns around to face the arena. She surveys the area and waits for her opponents to appear. She flicks her wrists, and the Tamashi sutira is in her grasp. Still concealed within her flowing sleeves.

Krim Li leaps into the arena onto one of the platforms floating adjacent to the one that Aya was standing on. As it was the custom of his people, he would not make a cheap shot until he felt his opponent was ready. He double checked his gauntlets, and then reached for his short sword which was strapped across his back. Being ambidextrous, he decided to start out with his left hand, as he would use his right for his slash harkens.
"May you fight with honor." He says with a slight bow, awaiting for the fight to truly begin.

Ayakumi bowed deeply in response. All forms of fighting are honorable and must be treated as such. I am glad my opponent understands this simple truth. She smiles to herself, hoping this fight would be a worthy one.
She jumped to a platform that was a little higher than the original one she was standing on. The jump she made did not change the distance between her and her opponent. She stared down at him, the platform floating at the level of his head.

"So you give me the first strike?" Krim Li stated, aiming his slash harken [I'm just going to call it that], towards a platform above him, as he moved upwards, he started to swing his body back and forth, and then careful not to get his sword in the way of his left handed harken, he grappled towards Aya's platform, releasing his right handed harken from the platform above him. Since the two platforms were about equal height, Krim flew upwards towards the edge of her platform, but part way to his opponent he used his wings to help propel him upwards, as he let the left harken release before he reached his destination. He kept his eyes on his opponent the entire time, keeping his sword in front of across his body, so he might hack away any incoming projectiles. He was still quite a distance away from Aya as he attempted to land onto her platform.

Ayakumi started to run towards her opponent, releasing her daggers so they retreated back into their holsters. He then grabbed a flame wheel in each and approached her opponent at incredible speed.
